Austin Goosby is down to his final four schools, and BYU is on the list.

Goosby is a 6-foot-5, 190-pound wing from Melissa, Texas, who is a consensus top 30 prospect in the Class of 2026, and he is also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On Friday, Joe Tipton of Rivals reported that in addition to BYU, Goosby’s final four schools under consideration are Texas, Duke and Baylor.

Tipton reported that Goosby will announce his commitment decision next Friday, Nov. 14.

Goosby has recently taken official visits to all four schools, with BYU being the most recent one in late September.

If Goosby were to sign with the Cougars, he would join a 2026 class that also currently includes transfer point guard KJ Perry and incoming freshman forward Dean Rueckert.

While Goosby is a basketball star, his brother Trevor is a starting offensive lineman at Texas.
